I’m Ainsleigh, the heart and hands behind The Painted Lady. If you’re new here or just curious about the face behind the magic, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about what I do.
I’m a mum of two, a whimsical soul with a passion for all things creative, an experienced childcare professional with over 15 years of experience. My background in childcare and the arts (including performing arts) lead me to create The Painted Lady, a space where imagination, learning, and magic come together.
So, what do I do?
I specialize in creative experiences and party packages that are fun, inclusive, and sprinkled with educational magic. I created the unique immersive Potion’s Craft experience. Whether you’re into fairytales, legends and mythology, or even the spooky, my potion-making experiences are designed to appeal to everyone, young and old. My experiences are genuinely unique, immersive, tangible story telling where you’re transported into a magical world.
Why I Do This:
I started The Painted Lady because I’m passionate about creating, meaningful experiences that everyone will cherish. I’ve designed these unique experiences to be immersive enjoyable and educational, without feeling like school. It’s all about making learning fun and memorable, while also supporting emotional wellbeing, mindfulness, self-confidence, and imagination.
The inspiration for my Original Potions Craft theme actually came from a story (which then developed into an adventure game) I created with my daughter, who’s now almost 8. Together, we’ve been exploring a magical world filled with unique species, enchanted places, and mystical ingredients. My son, who will be 4 in November, loves joining in on the fun too. Seeing how much joy and developmental growth these experiences brought to them, It ignited my passion to share it with others.
I’m completely mobile, I bring the magic directly to you, whether it’s a special event, or just a day of whimsical fun, my offerings are suitable for small or larger groups.
